REGIONAL CONSTRUCTION & ENERGY EXPO
The Regional Expo is the main vehicle in marketing member products and services countrywide. It provides our members the opportunity to sell products directly at the public, develop partnerships with the local building experts and also build new regional retail partners.
The RCEE Secretariat works with regional built organisations to ensure representation and participation of professionals. We also hinge on other popular events to secure a construction pavillion and pass-on the cost benefits to our members.
The Expo was formally launched on 18 November 2022 at the Serena Hotel, Nairobi by the State Department of Housing and Urban Development in the presence of construction and energy leaders from government, private sector, professional associations and development partners. The RCEE collaborators include the Institute of Construction Project Managers of Kenya (ICPMK), Kenya Green Building Society (KGBS) and the Electricity Sector Association of Kenya (ESAK).

VIFAA BORA - ACCREDITATION & CREDIT REFERENCE SYSTEM
VIFAA BORA Program is a value-chain initiative designed to foster strong, long-term relationships between financial institutions, manufacturers, distributors, retail hardwares and contractors. The program enables the value-chain actors to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and consistency in delivering building materials by offering working capital, order and restock financing, credit facilities, exclusive partnerships and industry referrals. This approach not only helps the hardwares and contractors grow their business but also ensures they consistently receive quality materials crucial for meeting customer expectations and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Through accreditation, BMAAK verifies that hardwares and contractors meet set credibility criteria, determined by years in operation, regulatory and safety compliance, CRB reports, customer satisfaction and environmental sustainability. This provides added assurance to all stakeholder, that they are dealing with reliable partners and products. By maintaining a database of accredited actors, BMAAK partners can streamline their operations, reduce the risk of counterfeits and payment defaults, and enjoy reputational enhancement in the building materials industry.

BUILDTECH ANTI-COUNTERFEIT PROGRAM
Counterfeiting in the building materials and construction industry has become a significant concern, as counterfeit products can compromise the safety, integrity, and longevity of construction projects. As the demand for building materials grows globally, so does the risk of substandard, fake products infiltrating the market.
To address this issue, technology has been harnessed to implement effective anti-counterfeit measures that protect consumers, builders, and manufacturers. BMAAK initiated the BuildTech Anti-Counterfeit Program to work alongside relevant authorities and technological advancements in combating counterfeiting in this sector.
This approach makes it easier for professionals in the construction industry to verify the authenticity of materials on-site. By using smartphone cameras or scanners, workers can quickly verify if the products are genuine by scanning barcodes, QR codes, or RFID chips. The process eventuality will be a shared database of trusted manufacturers, distributors and hardware stores.
